Hi, Dr B. Thank you very much for this service. I have a colo – vaginal fistula. This has been diagnosed by MRI scan. It appeared 4 weeks after I had surgery – a subtotal hysterectomy.

I am currently taking Silica Terra 200c once a week. Previously I was taking 6c twice a day. I am definitely a Silicea person. However I am unsure of the dosage I should be taking for this tear in my colon.

I have also been taking Argent Nit 6c twice a day for sugar cravings, and Arnica 6c for healing and bruised body feeling. I have also just taken my first dose of Psorinum 200c (fortnightly) for a bad outbreak of psoriasis which has coincided with the fistula, and is getting worse.

Both Silicea 6c and Psorinum 200c were previously prescribed for me by Royal Homeopathic Hospital for a previous bad bout of psoriasis five years ago.

What do you say?

Again, thank you for any help, and your comments.

Best regards, Henna

Hi Henna,

Well! sil 6c, sil 200, arg-nit 6c, arnica 6c, psorinum 200c …… what are you doing with yourself?? You would be better off taking allopathic drugs, then taking homeopathic medicines this way. First let me tell you that a medicine does not become homeopathic merely because it is a known homeopathic medicine. Homeopathy is not just a set of medicines but it is a well defined method of treatment with a set or principles for application of homeopathic medicines. If these principles are not followed, then even if you are taking a homeopathically prepared medicine then your treatment will not be called homeopathic. And what you are doing is not at all Homeopathy.

Homeopathy treats the person as a whole not just his body parts. And you yourself have said that your are a ‘Silecia’ person. If you are a silecia person, how could you get the craving of ‘arg-nit’ person and ‘bruised-sore’ feeling of an ‘arnica’ person, and ‘psoriasis’ of psorinum? These are highly unrelated medicines. When someone is treated homeopathically, usually one medicine which covers the person as whole, is sufficient to heal all ailments. Even if more than one medicines are required, they are used in succession according to the changes in the symptom picture, and are not given at the same time.

First of all, I will suggest you to stop any self-medication. You can even harm yourself or decrease the probability of a cure by taking too many wrong medicines. Then find a homeopath who is ready to treat you
holistically – someone who does not look for medicines for your colo-vaginal fistula or psoriasis. Someone who will try to find a medicine for you – you as a person. Your colon, or skin etc do not fall ill in isolation without affecting you as a whole. And so they should not be treated in isolation either.

Wishing you health,

Dr. B
