I am in a wheelchair — cannot sit or stand. On my right hip I have a large, hard lump about the circumference of a grapefruit. It is slightly red but not hot and I feel no pain even when someone presses on it. This is my weak side and the hip where I experience severe pain in the joint if someone mishandles me while putting me into bed or rolling me over.
