Author: Manish Bhatia

Posted by: sagora tor hello doctor, My question is – I have a corn on my right foot. so have been using silicea since March 22nd. Just had a medical check up and I am 4 weeks pregnant. Can i still use the rest of the dose of silicea. I plan to consult my physician also, but before that need an answer because i want to stop immediately it if it is not advised(i actually stopped taking it). Also I am in 4th week of preganancy. Please advise. thanks sagora Dear Sagora, Sorry for this delayed reply. You have not written the potency of Silecia you are taking and why you are taking silecia specifically. Ideally, during pregnancy, the less medicine you take the better. One should be specially cautious in taking deep acting remedies like Silecia. If they have been prescribed on local symptoms or are partially similar, they can cause harm at times. I personally would suggest that you should not take any medicine for corn during your pregnancy. But you should also consult your homeopath because the person who has your full case can give you the best advice. Best wishes, Dr. B
