My friend needs help to stop smoking and is looking to me to help with homeopathic remedy…mainly because he trusts me and also knows I have been helping family and friends. I have been brought up with homeopathic remedies as my sister was a homeopath and I worked with her for over 20 years till she passed away.
Please guide me for the above remedy for giving up smoking.

It if very good of you to try and help your friend. It is important to know that homeopathy has to be individualised to the specific condition. While it can be easy to point to a list of remedies for an acute condition, addictions usually require the help of a professional homeopath: why is the person smoking? what is the thought just before they smoke? is there an addictive terrain? Also, often, the body needs to be supported as smoking impacts blood sugar balance and the patient may feel worse after stopping (“cold turkey”). Good remedies for the craving includes tobaccum, caladium and lobellia but a proper case may help to find the best approach.
