Duodenal ulcer

Duodenal ulcer, causes, symptoms, homeopathic remedies, or homeopathic treatment for duodenal ulcer.

Duodenal ulcer refers to ulcers in the duodenum. Incidents if duodenal ulcer have been correlated to a secretion of HCL. Weight gain is common. Risk factors include a history of pulmonary disease, cirrhosis, chronic pancreatitis, and/or chronic renal failure.

If an ulcer erodes through a blood vessel, the patient may experience a life threatening hemorrhage. A perforation occurs in the ulcer erodes through the walls of intestine resulting in intestinal contents entering the abdominal cavity and causing peritonitis.

  • Several years I rushed to the hospital when I began feeling a great weakness and black stools. They put me to sleep and pushed a tube down my throat and injected some gas to stop the bleeding of a duodenal ulcer which I didn’t know I had. I had been having chronic gastritis and stomach pains for several months. I am overall much better now and since then I have learned how to treat myself using Homeopathy with many of medicines suggested and methods used in Homeopathy to do repertory, etc. I always read your newsletters and anxiously wait for the next one to arrive. I still get upper stomach, just below the sternum, attacks of pain that wake me at 2, 3, or 4 AM sometimes. Especially if I eat for 2 or 3 consecutive days, spicy food, tomatoes (peeling doesn’t digest), cabbage family (gas producing), vinegar, pastry (I guess the sodium bicarbonate cause me to have gas). Nux vomica 9C and pulsitilla 9C seem to be my best friends when these attacks occur. I take variable size doses from 4 or 5 drops to one or two teaspoons every other day of one medicine and take the other medicine on the other intermediate days for a couple of weeks. I did some reflexology and iridology recently and discovered gall bladder and liver problems (dark spots in iris of right eye and pain near center of right foot). I think that is probably the cause of many of my gastric ailments. I did get the non-contagious Hep B I think about 15 years ago. So now I am trying to repertorize, etc, which homeopathic medicine or medicines that would possibly stimulate bile production, or possibly cause gall stone expulsion, tonification, etc for my constitution/ temperament, miasm since it is chronic and will need repeated doses of lower potencies (below 30C). Any suggestions are gratefully accepted and will be considered in my analysis.
