Wheat allergy refers to the abnormal reaction of immune system caused due to the protein contained in the wheat grain. Wheat is generally composed of two main proteins, namely gliadins and glutenins that combine together to form gluten. Wheat allergy symptoms
Like any food allergy, a wheat allergy may manifesr as a respiratory reaction (such as wheezing), a skin response, or gastrointestinal distress.
