Characteristic Symptoms
Sensation as of a skin before the eyes. Violent hiccough, so that stomach is painful. Anus oozing. Burning pains before and after diarrhoea. Dry heat at the anus with sudden stitches as with a penknife. Stools are forced with great effort, protrusion of haemorrhoids. Anus aches and burns for hours after stool. Rectum seems as if full of pounded glass. Constriction of anus.
Therapeutics
Different cases of pterygium cured. Toothache also in various teeth at night, compelling the patient to get up and walk about. Also in the first months of pregnancy. (Magnes. carb.) (Dr. A. Lippe.) Fissure of the anus, with great constriction, excruciating pains after stool, burning like fire, temporarily relieved by cold water. Haemorrhoids, with burning pains like fire. Thin fetid diarrhoea, with bloody stools and burning like fire in the anus. Fissure of nipples in nursing women.
