ALUM.
CORYZA.
Dryness of nose and pharynx.
Dry sore throat; felt especially when talking, and when swallowing liquids.
THROAT – Feels dryer than it looks.
Veins of throat distended; velum red.
Hawking of much mucus from throat.
Feels as if inhaled dust irritated it.
VOICE –
Hoarseness, voice uneven, now high, now low: Talking increases hoarseness, and causes tickling cough.
Voice lost; cannot speak.
COUGH.
DRY COUGH – Tightness and weight in chest; rapid, short respiration.
Evening lying down, and immediately after rising in the morning.
Pain under right clavicle; and right shoulder when inhaling.
CHRONIC cough in old people; dry or scanty.
Irritation as from dust in throat; coughs up clear mucus.
SPUTA –
Scanty, ropy; or none; or clear, thin or ropy.
WORSE –
From talking; from inhaling; while eating.
Evening and morning.
While coughing, pain top right lung.
BETTER –
After breakfast, – cough.
SENSATIONS –
Throat feels drier than it looks; dust feeling in throat.
Short breathing, uneasiness in stomach; weight in chest.
Pain under right clavicle, when inhaling or coughing.
Pain in region of ovary when coughing.
Tightness and weight in chest; rapid short breathing.
Suitable to old people. (Vinca minor).
