| Dear Readers,
First, some news. This is going to be my last issue as the editor
of this e-journal, Homeopathy 4 Everyone. Since everyone
out there has started loving the Supremes so much and found
the editorial of the last month such a 'refreshing change', I have
decided to hang up my boots and retire before I am 30. Elaine is
going to take on the job from the next month and you will find an
mp3 attached with the editorial each month from now on!
Second, an apology for the 'unsubscribe email'. A couple of weeks
back, ALL of you received an email from Hpathy
stating -
'Dear xyz, If you do not like to receive
'Homeopathy 4 Everyone', the Free monthly homeopathic e-journal
from Hpathy.com, please feel free to unsubscribe from our mailing
list. We do not like to send spam or to send mails to people who
do not like to receive them."
The overwhelming response that we received in
reply to this email has forced me to apologize for this email to
all of you. It was not meant to be so personal but the new mailing
software that we now use, inserted the names of the subscribers
and made it look more personal than it was meant to be. The big
question is - why did we send such an email in the first place?
Well ...what happened was that some of the subscribers out there
reported our valid emails as spam and we received warnings from
some big networks like aol. The last time this happened, we had
to work hard for 6 months to get our servers white listed from AOL
and now again someone reported our mail as spam. I was really annoyed
and I said to myself ..ok! If there are people in our list who
do not wish to receive our emails, I will give them a fair chance
to unsubscribe from the journal. Some people can't seem to
locate the unsubscribe link included in every single mail that we
send. So that was the reason behind that mail. We received hundreds
of emails in reply - some of you replied in panic, lest they have
done something wrong, others simply said they wanted to continue
receiving the journal and some of your were upset by it. We realized
that even in your anger and panic, there was love and respect for
Hpathy and this ezine. Therefore I offer my sincere apologies
to all of you who were taken aback with that email. There was no
intention to ruffle your feathers.
Now we are done with all the preliminaries and its time to focus
on this ezine issue again. For the September and the October issue,
we are focusing on the Homeopathic Hospitals of
the past, present and the future. Dr. Leela has been doing a lot
of work for these special issues. With the help of the team and
all of you who responded to our requests we have been able to come
up with a very useful and rich issue. This month we again have Dr.
Praful Barvalia in our Hot-Seat. Read the riveting interview
and learn about the special work that Dr. Barvalia is doing
with his organization Spandan. Read also about his upcoming
homeopathic hospital - a mega project! Siegfried Letzel shares with
us the history of homeopathic hospitals in Germany. There are many
clinical cases from hospital settings and David Little
continues with his Advanced methods of Homeopathy. There
is much more - start reading right away!
Do send me your feedback about this issue at editor@hpathy.com.
Your comments and suggestions about this journal and various articles
published in each issue are very important to us. So don't forget
to write to us. We await your letters eagerly.
Yours sincerely,

-- Chief Editor --
