| It has always been my wish that homeopathy be accepted worldwide and that all living beings can benefit from its unique healing properties. But homeopathy is constantly being attacked, and homeopaths, especially in western countries often have difficulty establishing and maintaining a practice. I’m reminded of the story of Jonathan Livingston Seagull. It’s about an unusual seagull who refuses to accept limitations and strives to be his best. The other seagulls only bothered to learn the simplest skills of flight, sufficient for fishing. That wasn’t enough for Jonathan, who was in love with flying, and with freedom. Others in his flock didn’t understand him, but he still attempted to fly courageously. His motto was: “Don't give up!” Jonathan’s story encourages us to overcome barriers, keep our dreams and follow our hearts. It’s also about seeking a higher purpose in life and following that, in spite of difficulties. Like Jonathan the seagull, homeopaths reject commonly held beliefs and limits. They embrace a special idea, and do so against all opposition. Let us fly like Jonathan, pursue our higher vision and not be compromised by the misguided efforts of ignorant, close-minded or profit-oriented people! For this issue of our monthly newsletter we've again organized many interesting articles on different aspects of homeopathy. I hope you enjoy them and that they help you gain a deeper understanding of homeopathy to enlarge your horizons. This month Homeopathy 4 Everyone begins a new feature called "Ask the Plant Doctor".
