Homeopathy works wonders in pregnancy. Some of the medicine are very effective during labour. pain.I have tried these medicine on pregnant women during my practice.
Can you suggestion about the medicine which had helped during labour. Also the other medicine which had helped during pregnancy for diffrent condition like vomiting, acidity, constipation etc
Thanks aseafirdosy. Do you have any experience of using it in pregnancy with twins durin 28wk where the chance of premature deliveries are very high. Pt is suffering from acidity and vomiting.
dyr Manisha, yes there are some medicie which I have used on patients like ACTEARACEMOSA, given after 3rd months till delivery . I have experienced PULSATILa during the labour pain for easy delivery.Of course according to the constitution of the patient we should give the medicine. For acidity I give MAGPHOS and NUxVOmica according the symptom.

I had a case in which a mother during her pregnancy had a placenta previa, for which she was given Sepia followed by Nux Vomica during the last weeks of pregnancy. The effect was only partial.

Hi I graduated 18mths ago in the Uk, now in Australia. Havent done much in the way of pregnancy other than being present for my 2 grandchildren, have two more due this year so all my learning is firsthand. my daughter is now 12 weeks and trying sepia as morning sickness is ‘all day sickness’ and even the thought of food makes her vomit. She…[Read more]
Hi! Thanks for sharing your experience. To share mine, I used Colchicum 30 on an SOS basis when I needed it, which was not much – just maybe about 5-6 times during the first trimester. The main symptom was nausea from the smell/thought/sight of food. I know Sepia also covers that, I just chose Colchicum considering it would not be as deep acting…[Read more]
Thanks for that Firuzi, Colchicum had not come up very close when i did the repertory, it is a good one to know a little more about.
hi, chrissieincairns , pl remember fol med-
cocc- vertigo with nausea, lying amel with eye closed.
ars- vomiting soon after eating/drinking. nausea at the smell of food.try also if colch fail or vice versa.
symphorycarpus- routine medice .
try medo/tuberculinum in inveterate cases. thanks.Have you tried it as an adjunct therapy for chemo patients as well?
regret for delay. in all cases symptom similarity should be our guide. so for chemo patient pl broaden the list keeping esp eye on ipec, bismuth- food remain and only water come up, phos- desire cold water which amel but rejected after being warm in stomach, ars. thanks
