Suppose, we find constitution of a patient, and we treat them with that medicine, will the patient totally change to some other constitution? if not, will he continue to carry those bad characteristics of that constitution?

I have seen the rough edges of a character slightly smoothened out in a person being treated. But it could be that the ailment itself might have caused it in the first place. Otherwise you are what you are born with.

My patient had a fall 2yrs ago. She is now 65yrs old. She hit a cement pipe while walking and fell down. At that time the foot which hit the pipe swelled and had pain. she took some pain killer and some allopathy treatment. she was better but not completely healed from pain.

Even though it is an old injury but if an X-ray was not done at that time, pls get one done now. In old age, esp in females, fractures can occour from seemingly benign injuries and you will need to rule out such a possibility first.
If fractured, there must be swelling in the foot. But now there is no swelling. Only pain.

It is not just the nature of injury but the symptoms that count. If the patient still has symptoms of Arnica, then Arnica is the remedy.

But what I understand from elaine’s quizes that eitiology over rules the symptomology. In this case we know that the cause is injury with blunt instrument, which was untreated. For such injuries we use Arnica as the first remedy.

Why do you have to ’guess’ what could be wrong?? As trained doctors, is it so difficult to find out for sure? Even a decent physical examination would reveal the exact problem.
It’s high time homeopaths stop guessing the disease and the remedy like this. It is a shame to the profession.
While treating a patient guess work should be reduced and more probing should be done to find out the cause. Even modern tech like xray,sonography, ctscan etc should be resorted to.

Dear Tara, Homeopathy doesn’t work this way. There are hundreds of remedies to chose from and individualization is required to select an appropriate remedy for a given case. It is better to consult a homeopath in person for treatment of any chronic disease.

Do you really think ’high cholestrol’ is a disease? or is it a sign of a larger systemic problem? Same about hypo functioning Thyroid.
I am not against using therapeutically indicated remedies but I am against treatment of chronic disease online with a ’take this’ or ’take that’ approach.
