The Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM) is more than a College, it’s a community. Since our inception in 1994, we have graduated hundreds of successful homeopathic practitioners. Our comprehensive part time, three-year program in Homeopathy, Health Sciences and Nutrition is second to none. CCHM has always upheld the highest standards of training. In this important time in the history of homeopathy, we proudly support the initiative to regulate the homeopathic profession in Ontario, and prepare our students for continued success in the future. Beyond excellence in training, the CCHM advantage is a commitment to ensuring our graduates are prepared to succeed in practice. Our innovative clinical training model provides students with progressive instruction in the fine art of case-taking, prescribing and practice management. Guided by expert homeopaths, throughout the 3 year program (and optional 1 year Post Graduate Program) students build a solid foundation of knowledge and skill and are confident in their abilities as homeopathic practitioners.

CCHM is the only Canadian College fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Homeopathic Education in North America (ACHENA).

The Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM) was founded in 1994 in response to the recognized need for quality homeopathic education in Canada.

Our professional training program is based on classical homeopathic principles discovered and developed by Samuel Hahnemann as described in his ‘Organon of Medicine’. We emphasize clinical ability in a creative and supportive environment. Our supervised internship clinic is open to the public, offering high-quality treatment at reduced rates. Our aim is to promote the cause of classical homeopathy as a prime method for healing the sick.

Creativity is encouraged in our students, and central to the experience of learning is the joy of discovery. The routine of work is thus transformed into willing service and inspires self-discovery. It promotes mental and emotional flexibility and a growing awareness of homeopathic philosophy. As we gain a deeper understanding of ourselves, we also develop a less prejudicial view of others and a greater appreciation of humankind.

CCHM offers prospective students five programs to choose from:

Homeopathic Diploma Program (On-Campus, Toronto) – this is a three-year professional diploma program in Homeopathy and Health Sciences beginning in September and January of each year.

Homeopathic Diploma Program for Physicians – this is a special accelerated diploma program tailored for doctors (MD, DC, ND, DO).

Distance Education Diploma Program– this program is similar to our on-campus homeopathy program whereby students can progress at their own pace.

Distance Education Introductory Course – this course serves as an introduction to the fundamentals of homeopathy for those wanting to ‘test the waters’ before proceeding to enrol in our professional program. It is done via distance education and students can begin at any time. Fees for this course are credited towards our professional program if the student wishes to proceed further with their training.

Post Graduate Diploma Program– this is a one-year program open to all professional homeopaths and naturopaths, beginning in the Fall of each year. Both on-campus and distance education are available.

Other – CCHM and the Edison Institute of Nutrition have created an affiliate program. Students training to become a Homeopath can concurrently study to earn a Diploma in Holistic Nutrition (D.H.N.) from the Edison Institute. This program is open only to CCHM students.
