Hi!
I’m back to Belladonna in W. Boericke Pocket Manual of MM. It’s said there: ”Transverse colon protrudes like a pad”. I can’t get it. Do you have any idea of describing this symptom?

Bell have constriction around naval region, which gives rise to formation of ball or lump just before the constriction. agg. from slight touch.
I agree with drofart. It is because of the constriction. This happens during the acute episode of incisional hernia. It helps in releving the pain.
