Dr. Patricia Le Roux 1958-2011

We are very sad to report the passing of renowned homeopath Dr Patricia Le Roux, who died after being struck by a motor scooter in Paris on October 15, 2011. Dr. Le Roux was a dynamic woman who worked tirelessly as a pediatrician, researcher, administrator, teacher and author. She served as General Secretary of the European Committee for Homeopathy from 2000-2008. Fluent in German, English and Italian, she regularly taught as part of the team of “European Flying Doctors”. She had also worked in the oncologic pediatric ward of a hospital in Marseille, treating the most serious cases. Dr. Le Roux worked with the Hahnemannian School of Frejus, directed by Didier Grandgeorge, her mentor. She recently participated in provings with Jan Scholten. Her published works include : “Homeo and Juliette (2003) which included a completed study of the Lac remedies; Butterflies, Homeo-bambin and Homeo-pitchoun; The Actinides. She also loved to sail and was an accomplished musician. Everyone in the community will miss her brilliance, commitment and passion.
