I usually always consider miasmatic traits when selecting a remedy. Their use, however is based on inaction of a well chosen remedy. It is rarely a first prescription. |

I consider the miasm because it helps differentiate among remedies with similar symptoms. An example is Rhus Tox which doesn't work for pains generated by sycotic miasm; an anti-sycotic remedy will be a better choice. |

yes i do look for the miasm while prescribing in a case.it helps a lot to reach the correct remedy since a predominantly psoric drug will not really help in a sycotic case!!!n that i feel is true for both acute and chronic cases. |

I follow the teachings of founder of Homeopathy "Hahnemann" according to his organan of Homeopathy Miasms are the basic pillers for the treatment and to restore the health of patients accordingly.
The Miasms are always taken into chronic background prescriptions, as the layers are systematically reversed. No doubt I believe Hahnemann did not dream up the miasms as an academic exercise, therefore understanding of miasms is essential to do as the 1st motto "To restore(Cure)health".

In diagnosis of diseases (acute and chronic) as well as in administration of remedies i usually i give priorties to the miasms.
In case of acute diseases in my opinion "Psora" is always prominent, but it doesn't mean the Psora is only the miasm which is prominent in all acute cases, there may be sycotic or syphlitic miasm or both may be present in a acute case, and as far as sycotic and syphilitic miasm are concerned they are also present with the psora and it only depends on the severety of the case.
There is no any specific teacher whom i follow, everybody who has contributed their extreme efforts in developing the homoeopathic philosophy is specific to me.
Miasms are always useful in all acute as well as in chronic cases and they help in diagnosis of the case acute/chronic, finding the cause of disease, the right choice/selection of remedies, administration of remedies, repeatition of the remedies as well as their doses in the right way to establish the cure. |
