I know and love Dr.Sankaran as a master homoeopath but I don`t know about his Scholten`s ideas.
It is my duty as a homoeopath and a member of Hpathy com.I have interest to know scholten`s ideas.

I am in my last months of study for the advanced Dip. of Homoeopathy.
The supervising Homoeopath of the student clinic is an avid follower of both Sankaran and Scholten and his presciptions always seem spot-on.
I also have participated in a few seminars and feel that in getting to the main problem, while it can be difficult for both the practitioner and the patient, and time consuming - the results appear to be worth the efforts by all concerned.

I love Sankaran's work as it illustrates the importance of finding the core delusion, and if this can be found then it sustains more importance than all the smaller physical symptoms (and smaller remedies). His work indeed highlights the importance of 'holistic' healing and reminding myself of his overview has helped me in my practice to remain focussed on finding what's important in the case. I have used this in my practice where I could find no rubrics pointing to the remedy Platina, and yet I knew this was the remedy for her, just by her general manner. Indeed this remedy worked very well for her.

Sankaran's work is total rubish. It's his own imaginations coupled with delusions. His only aim is to say something new, never matter what. They are destroying Homeopathy and the repertory.

I have been reading their methods since my inception into homeopathy. I had lot of pitfalls when inused them in my new practice. but gradually as i learned more i felt there is lot of depth in thier methods. but my experiene suggest that i we want to use both metods we should definately have deep insight and then only they appear scnetific, otherwise they are more fscinating and a neophyte may have a pitfall s i had.

but the require lot knowledge of psychonlysis like that of FREUDIAN OF JUNGIAN PSYCHOANALYSIS.

When we aren't seeing the essence, Sankaran's ideas can help move us out of the usual rut. Looking at gestures I saw they were the person protecting herself. Analzing the words in the poems she wrote brought up many words referring to water, fear and motion.

Totality can help, essence can help, keynotes can help, just don't get locked in one mode.

I am impressed by innovative homoeopaths and if their methods work for them it's cool. I do not find it appropriate to mix my practice with their methods as I am an inexperienced homoeopath (graduated 2 years ago) thus I find comfort and good results in the Hahnemannian way of treating patients. However, - I have observed one thing about these new methods of practise namely the havoc it causes in the homoeopathic society. Homoeopaths are scolding each other for being un-scientific, un-ethical and un-homeooapthic. The tone utilised by all parties is degrading and embarrassing and people tend to mix the philosophies behind the work. One should not defend Sankaran and Scholten's methods as being Hahnemannian as they are not. They are unique and innovative tools which works for some homoeopaths and that is great. We are living in a different time age than Hahnemann and that should be appreciated in more contemporary approaches to our patients. However - homooepathy is founded on sound principles and those who wish to implement them in their practise should be allowed without being scolded for being old fashioned and fundamentalists. We work differently and in my oppinion we should spend more time in uniting homoeopathy instead of attacking each others methods. We should be much more tolerant and open for new ideas and old working principles as we are individuals with susceptibilities for different methods which not necessary makes anybody better or worse. The results counts and is what is important for our patients. On the other hand I fear that many homoeopaths try to be innovative to make quick and big money, which is the danger. I always judge a homoeopath's sincerety in the fee he or she charges for their seminars. And I have to admit that Sankaran is way over-charging for his courses and that the prices are so different for indian/Asian and other participants. I have lived in India and wanted to participate in some of his courses but the prices were ridiculous and I gave it up. I find it very annoying sitting next to people who pay 1000 Rs for a seminar which I myself have to pay 300 Euro for - just because I am a citizen of a western country. This is where the fraud comes in, this is where the discrimation is flourishing and this is where I think ethical practise fail miserably.
