    Scabies, a common cause of itching, is produced by infection with the mite Sarcoptes scabies varhominis.The patient presents with nocturnal itching, most marked when the person is warm in bed. It is associated with burrows, papules, papulo-vesicles, vesicles or pustules.Infested person can transmit scabies to other prior to the development of symptoms.
  4. Pilonidal Sinus (Pilonidal cyst)

    The disease develops from penetration of the skin by hair. An inflammatory, granulomatous reaction of pilosebaceous glands and hair follicles results in a granulomatous cyst. The diagnosis of pilonidal diseases is made by finding a painful, fluctuant area in the presacral region. Pilonidal abscesses may be treated with incision and drainage.
  5. Seborrheic Dermatitis

    Seborrheic dermatitis is a common chronic dermatitis that is characterized by erythema and greasy looking scales in areas rich in sebaceous glands.Seborrheic dermatitis produces pruritis, burning, flaking, and redness of the affected skin.Although these are many treatments for seborrheic dermatitis, recurrences are very common, with the disease typically relapsing for years.
