I was born in 1973 and Homoeopathy has been a part of my family background. My father, though an engineer by profession, has been reading on Homoeopathy since his college days. I grew up on Homoeopathy and in those days, I wanted to be a Homoeopath so that I would never have to swallow tablets! Years passed and I saw Homoeopathy work even where mainstream medicine asserted that 'nothing could be done'. I studied Homoeopathy at the C.M.P. Homoeopathic Medical College at Vile Parle in Mumbai and obtained the B.H.M.S. bachelor’s degree from Bombay University in 1996. I then completed a 2-year correspondence post-graduate diploma of H.M.D. offered by the British Institute of Homoeopathy, London in 1998. I spent 5 weeks in Switzerland in 1998, attending an Intensive International Seminar for Medical Doctors on Anthroposophical Medicine, whose Iscador Therapy for cancer is used successfully by many Homoeopaths. I've been in private practice since about 10 years and though, as a Homoeopath, I know that our system of medicine can do lots more for a patient than conventional medicine, it still amazes me at times! I realise that being a Homoeopath involves a lifetime of learning and I am really proud to be part of the Hpathy Team. Hpathy is bringing awareness and guidance to thousands via the Internet and gradually if people move towards a healthy Homoeopathic form of treatment, this will be of immense benefit to mankind in the long run.
