Ezcema

The eczema of Staphisagria oozes an acrid moisture from under the scabs, and new vesicles form from the contact of the exudation. They generally itch very severely, and one peculiarity is, that when the itching is relieved by scratching in one place it immediately appears in another.  The eczema is often on the head, around the ears, but the most marked action is in the eyelids.

Hep B vaccine for babies

The U.S. CDC recommends that all infants be vaccinated with three doses of hepatitis B vaccine beginning at 12 hours of age. Pharma claims that adverse effects of the vaccine only occur in 1% of the patients. Since 70 million people will get the vaccine, that comes 700,000 people! Some of those people will be permanently injured or die.

Olfaction

Where the patient is very excitable and weak, the application of a remedy by olfaction is more efficacious and safe than the administration of a substantial dose of homoeopathic medicine, however fine and highly potentiated. This is done by holding the mouth of the vial, containing one small globule moistened with the medicine, first to one nostril, and if the dose is to be still more efficacious, also to the other nostril of the patient, who takes a momentary inspiration. This process of olfaction is not to be repeated at shorter intervals, than if the medicine had been given in substantial form.

Four Aphorisms for Dr. J.T Kent

  1. “It is worse than useless to give a second dose until the effects of the first dose have ceased.”
  2. “Never, under any circumstances, make use of local applications for an internal derangement. It is the highest order of medical profanity!”

  4. “When a remedy has benefited a patient satisfactorily, never on your life, change your remedy, but repeat that remedy so long as you can benefit the patient. Do not regard the symptoms that have come up.”

Some Tips from Dr. W.A. Dewey

Mygale

According to Farrington, Mygale is one of our best remedies in uncomplicated cases of chorea. The muscles of the face twitch constantly, the mouth and eyes open and close in rapid succession, the head is jerked to one side. If the patient attempts to put his hand to his head it is jerked backwards.

Nitric Acid

Nitric acid is often indispensable in ophthalmia neonatorum, but its main use is in superficial ulcers of the cornea with splinter-like pains. It is also considered to be one of our best remedies in corneal opacities.

Oenanthe crocata

Perhaps no remedy in the materia medica more closely pictures epilepsy than Oenanthe crocata . The reliable symptoms calling for it are: sudden and complete loss of consciousness, swollen livid face, frothing at the mouth, dilated or irregular pupils, convulsions with locked jaws and cold extremities.

Kali Mur

Kali Muriaticum is also a remedy for obstinate eczemas about the auricle, especially if accompanied with the gastric disturbances of the remedy.

After Operations on the Eyes

Aconite – Principal remedy

Ignatia – Violent pains in temples

Rhus tox. – Pains shooting into head

Veratrum viride – Dr. Elliot considers Veratrum viride in the lower potencies our best remedy in acute meningitis. Intense cerebral congestion, rapid pulse, tendency to convulsions, followed by prostration.
