Dear Plant Doctors,

My Rose Bush has been attacked by something, but I don’t know what. The leaves are turned into something looking like lace, with holes throughout. Do you have any idea what could cause this and a way to solve it? See photo below. We live in Lancaster PA, U.S.A. with moderate weather, and normally no dry spells.

Thank you

Louise Miller

Radko Tichavsky: Hello Louise. The damage is probably caused by the Japanese beetle Popillia japonica Newman (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae) a widespread pest in wide range of plants. His feeding on the upper leaf surface usually results in skeletonization. You can apply Phosphorus 6 CH, alternating with Ricinus communis 6 CH. You can reduce the irrigation a little, during the peak beetle flight activity. And to prevent the adult insect, apply Nosode 30 CH from the adult beetle, and if you can locate the larva and beetle eggs you can apply the nosode of them in the same potency. Spray it over the soil and on the plants once a week.

Dear Plant Doctors

Can you offer any suggestions regarding Stony Pit Virus in Pear Trees? I live in the Amherst area of Nova Scotia, Canada, and about 5 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean. The pear tree in question is approximately 15-20 yrs old and seemed fine until 3 years ago when the stony pit started, and it has worsened a little each year. The variety of the original pear tree is unknown, but I have grafted several varieties to it over the years. I have used several homeopathic remedies on my vegetable garden & other fruit trees, but the stony pit has me stumped. This area has a hot summer with no dry season.

Thank you

Sandy

Radko Tichavsky: Dear Sandy, the Pear stony pit is a miasmatic disease, associated with viral disorders resulting from the manipulation of genetic material of pear trees. The Württenberg variety is very susceptible and Bartlett variety is a symptomless carrier of the virus for example. Pear stony pit symptoms take the form of RNA virus detached inside a protective protein coat in this case. A virus is not alive, so this cannot be killed. This miasmatic symptom also corresponds to changes of fragmentation in the holon. The more fragmented the holon, the more the miasma´s expression is observed, also on the level of the overall vitality of the holon. The treatment strategy for this miasmatic condition is based on weekly foliar application through the growing season of Pyrus communis 12 CH and Ocymum basilicum 12 CH and / or Luffa aegyptiaca 12 CH.
You can apply once a month Vitamin C 12 CH, Chenopodium 6 CH and Staphysagria 100 CH to further reduce the presence of nematodes, which are the main vectors of the disease and source of re-infections. You can also add the organic matter or compost to your trees. The next year you will see a significant decrease of the yellowing and fruit deformation.

Respected Sir,

We are cultivating cotton in India and the main problem is Aphids, Jasids and mites. Can you suggest a way to solve this problem?

Thanks

Appa Rao

Radko Tichavsky: Dear Appa, the insect infestation is caused by monoculture farming, and the little alternation of them in the same crop. The agrohomeopathy intervention in a crop usually begins with the application of nosode of soil, Sulfur, complex of Calareas (Calcarea carb, Calcarea phos and calc. fluorica) followed by Natrum mur. Once the soil is balanced then the plants stop sending signals to insects and other pathogens and decreases its activity in crops. Converting a conventional crop to the agro-homeopathic one usually takes 1-3 years. The main benefit is not only the decreased activity of pathogens, but also generation of more biodiversity and ultimately an agricultural product of better quality and performance.

Dear Sir,

We are grape growers from India – Maharashtra State. Every year we have the         problem of Downy mildew and powdery mildew Also thrips , mites , stem borers. We are using fungicide and pesticides at regular intervals, but not getting satisfactory results. Also having low yield problem. Is there a solution for these recurrent problems?

Thank you

Aniruddha Patil

Radko Tichavsky: Dear Aniruddha, regular use of fungicides and pesticides is incompatible with agrohomeopathy, because at medium term it leads to chronic and miasmatic disorders of the crop (because the effect of suppression by action of opposites). Agrotoxics not only fail to solve the problem of pests but actually form superpests, much stronger, aggressive and resistant to the agrochemicals. When a fungicide is used, this includes regularly a wide spectrum of fungi (not only pathogens but also beneficial fungi antagonistic to the pathogenic one´s) such that after a time, the crop does not operate with fungicides, or without them and decreases its vitality level. Something similar happens with the pesticides. The law of tropism teaches us that organisms that accumulate more pollution and become sick or die are located at the end of the food chain, in this case the organism on the end.
The solution is decontaminate the crops through homeopathic drains (usually prepared from the soil in the same place), strengthen the biodiversity of organisms present in the holon and take it as strict discipline to grow in alternation plants whose profiles complement each other. The agrohomeopathy treatment of the crops is ecologically sustainable, economically also and does not undermine nature and is not against man.

Dear Sir,

I am from India. Which potency would you suggest for using remedies for a plant nutrient deficiency?

Thank you

Aniruddha Patil

Radko Tichavsky: Dear Anirudha, nutrients are present in the soil and plants in dynamic equilibrium, ie not only acting individually. For instance, high levels of nitrogen inhibit carbon availability and vice versa. Similarly equilibrium relationships exist between Ca and P, Cu and Zn, Mg and Na, Mg and Ca, Si and Ca, Na and Li to mention some of the duets of elements. The elements of high atomic weight, such as those present in clay soils, for example the lanthanide or actinide, often govern bioavailability of macronutrients. Macronutrients (NPK) may be present in the soil, however the parallel the lanthanide presence may inhibit them, sequester them, so they will not be bioavailable to plants.

The homeopathic intervention in a culture is performed through all potency ranges (low, mid and high) where low potencies stimulate and high potencies inhibit. We use different potencies (decimal, centesimal, millesimal 50, multipotencies, potencies T, where drug preparation differs from the Hahnemannian ones) and their selection depends on vital reactions observed in the soil, in plants and in the entire holon.

For example, if you apply Carbo veg. 3 D you will contribute carbon to the soil and the plant, and thus decrease the bioavailability of nitrogen in both. But applying Carbo veg. 30 CH, not only will not bring the carbon, but rather inhibit it, which automatically raise the bioavailability of nitrogen.

Another example: the application of Phosphorus 100 CH in a rose with phosphorus deficiency, not only does not add this item, but will inhibit its presence on the soil even more. But if we add Sulphur 100 CH (element being paired with phosphorus balance) this will increase the bioavailability of Phosphorus in the plant and remove the red leaf color, characteristic for Phosphorus deficiency. The repertorization always depends on the vital characteristics of the holon (the patient) and his symptomatology, and this will mark the remedies potency settings and selection.

Actually other variables come into play as the dose (the amount of the drug) and the frequency or way of application. In short, agrohomeopathy does not replace the nutrition, in the sense of the material supply of nutrients to the soil and the plant, but directs the nutrients, making them bioavailable, or inhibiting them as required.
The agrohomepaths or holohomeopaths are not blowing in the sails of a sailboat, but they place candles at the correct angle so that the boat moves in the direction to a safe harbor.

What is a Holon?

A Holon is the basic clustering of living organisms and natural conditions, it has a high degree of synergy and collaboration, is dynamic and highly interconnected and interdependent among its various parts. Any change in one part affects the other parts of holon. The holon contains within itself all adaptation functions necessary for survival, for its evolution and also contains all the elements and functions necessary for its auto-annihilation and transformation into a new holon or subdivision o reconnection with other holon(s).  The limits and characteristics of a holon are changing, extending in a multidimensional way and are in a constant process of evolution. A Holon’s borders are defined by the degree of fragmentation and / or disconnection, the more interconnected and more biodiverse is the holon, the greater stability and resilience  presents. Parts of the holon always share some common information, share certain degree of similarity and have similar degrees of vitality.

  • I live in an apartment in bangalore city in india.I have grown hibiscus, geraniums, lilies and gladiolus plants in pots and I have kept the same in my balcony.direct sunlight is available only during summer months. In the other months the plants hardly receive 1 hour of sunlight. Is there any homeopathic remedies for the lack of sunlight which results in less blooms and fungus problems?kindly reply
    thanking u
    with warm regards
    BRS RAO

  • Excuse me please, that I send my suggestions only now, but I had IT-problems.
HERE MY REMEDIES FOR AUGUST 2015:
Dear Louise, with the lace you are very, very near….. it’s a spider’s web!
Take cross spider, Aranea diadema, Aran. LM12, once, 2 pills/drops. And two weeks later Magnesium metallicum, Mag. Met., M, one pill once. Phosphorus Q15, 1 pill/drop, three weeks after Mag. Met. Put all remedies near the plant direct on the soil.
    Dear Sandy,
use for your pear tree Thuja C200, once 2 pills; then 10 days later Aurum M, 1 pill once, Pulsatilla C200, 4 pills two weeks after Aurum and then five weeks after Aurum once more. Also in this case you put the pills directly on the soil.
    Dear Mr./Mrs. Appa Rao,
I suggest Lac caninum LM12, 2 pills/drops in 50 litres of water, pour the plants twice with this mixture and with an interval of 10 days. Lac caninum means there is a conflict theme. Then once Aurum Q12, two weeks after the last Lac c.-date, 3 pills/drops in 50 l of water. Then twice Ferrum metallicum C200, 2 pills in 50 l, 5 weeks after Aurum and 10 weeks after Aurum.
    Hallo, Aniruddha Patil,
in your case I really don’t get an idea/input…… Can you try to stop using fungicides and pesticides at least on a certain area? On this area you replace the toxic tools through homeopathic remedies, OK? It would be better, to stop completely the old school treatment…. Now I get a solution for your problem (also a conflict theme): Lac felinum 2M, once, 3 pills in 100 l of water. Pour the plants. Then you take citrine (a yellow quarz, but take a real one! Sometimes they take an amethyst and treat it to get the yellow colour, but this is worthless). Put the citrine in 100 l of water, at least three hours. Pour the plants with this energetic water two weeks after Lac f. I think after 3 months you will see first results. But the most important task is to stop using fungicides and pesticides.
    Dear Aniruddha,
Use Aurum M, 3 pills in 10 l of water, pour the plants once. Then Magnesium metallicum, C200, 4 pills in 10 l of water, twice: 11 days after Aurum, then 4 weeks after Aurum once more. First (at the same day when you start with Aurum) you have to do a job: You shall apologize to a friend. It isn’t necessary that you meet your friend personally. Go out into the nature and talk to your friend loudly. I’m sure you will find the right words. I sent the soul of my father with loudly spoken words in heaven. I carried the soul 16 years with me, and I was always very exhausted. Only my current doc found the reason 2 years ago. But since then….. BOUMMMM!

    For BRS RAO:
Take SOL, sunlight, 2M, once 2 pills, then AURUM met. LM12, twice 3 pills, 1 and 3 weeks after SOL. AURUM, gold, is the material from a supernova, it is sunlight, too, but in matter (see/compare Einstein :-)) Moon (Luna) correspondents with silver, Ferrum with earth, Cuprum with Venus etc. I still learn, too.
Greetings from Germany, Sabine, the crazy one who does distance/mental healing with plants, animals and humans.
I am a medium, I can feel energetic fields since 2 years now. Sometimes I see pictures, too. One of my sources is a perfect homeopath. From him I get my input, but I am only a channel. I trust this source, because my current homeopath (with Dr. med.) works with it, too, since 25 or 30 years now. I have been going for 20 years to homeopaths, first 15 years classical, then extraterrestical…. Now I heal me myself. Ok, I installed sand under my bed because I became so sensitive. But I still work as a technical writer in the German mechanical engineering.
