The Bengal Academy of Applied Homoeopathy [BAAH], Kolkata West Bengal organized a National seminar on 15th September 2019 at Rabindra-Okakura Bhavan, Salt Lake , Kolkata, West Bengal. In this auspicious occasion Prof(Dr.) Susanta Kumar Bandyopadhyay, Ex-Director of Medical Education, Govt. of West Bengal, has kindly given his consent to accept the chair of Chief Guest. Prof (Dr.) Mrinal Kanti Chakrabort, President, West Bengal Council of Homoeopathic Medicine, will kindly accept the chair of Inaugurator, and Prof (Dr.) Shyamal Kumar Mukherjee , Principal & Administrator D.N.De Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Govt of W.B and Prof (Dr) Abhijit Chattopadhya Director in –Charge NIH, Kolkata, Govt of India will grace the occasion as Guest of Honour, to inspire meritorious students like previous years ‘Late Netai Pada Basu Memorial Award -2019’ who stood first in order of merit from the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.
BAAH Chairman, Dr Biswajit Basu, welcomed all the dignitaries and participants coming from different parts of our country and narrated the aims and objectives of the Organization i.e, ‘To be and let be better Homoeopathic Physicians’. To commemorate this occasion comprising the lectures and some important writings from old archives ‘BAAH SOUVENIR -2019’ has also been released.
In this ( 7th) year BAAH National Seminar , topic of the first session was ‘When indicated medicines fail” and what would be the way out offered by Prof(Dr.) Susanta Kumar Bandyopadhyay and Dr Biswajit Basu. The second session was Evidence Based Cured Cases presented by BAAH Study Circle Members namely Dr Amitava Dutta , Dr Sampad Roy & Dr Dr Debojyoti Dawn.
The third session was panel discussion entitled Scope of Homoeopathy in Non- Communicable Diseases’, Panelists were Prof (Dr) Malay Mundle, , Prof (Dr) Abhijit Chatterjee, Prof (Dr) Rajat Chatterjee, , Prof (Dr) Asok Das & Dr Biswajit Basu.
Shipra Basu discussed different ongoing programs conducted by The Bengal Academy of Applied Homoeopathy[BAAH], like a workshop on different modules, health camps, study circle etc. This one day national seminar concluded with giving a vote of thanks to all by the organizing secretary of BAAH.
