Higher and lower potency in consideration of similia similibus curantur

Posted by:

If higher and lower/lowest potensies of any homeopathic remedy can effect or be called as antidote to each other in considerations of simila similibus curentur principle i.e like cure like?
Regards.

Yes! In many cases this is true. The higher and lower potencies of the same medicine have similar action not same because of potentization. Many old homeopaths have written this in their texts that when they have come across undue aggravation of state from a particular potency, another potency of the same drug has been found to effectively antidote the effect of the previous potency. But do not make a generalization about this. There has been NO systematic study on this issue as yet.
