How does one become a certified homeopath? There seems to be numerous programs, etc., which confuse me. I realize some homeopaths are MDs, DOs, NDs but many are not. What organizations regulate certification or licesne? Please advise
Hi Ed,
You have not written where you live. There are different organizations in different countries which regulate homeopathy education. Even the degrees are different in different countries. In Asia, DHMS and BHMS are the most common. In Europe RSHom is very common and in US, DHom and CHom is very common. Medical doctors, MD, can practice homeopathy in most places with or without extra qualification. It depends upon where you live. I would suggest that you search Hpathy.com for your query. Such queries have been answered many times on these forums.

Dear sir
My daughter completed 12th in Saudi Arabia and wanted to become a homoeopath.but I cannot send her to india for regular classes. I have searched online and found RESONANCE SCHOOL OF HOMEOPATHY. Will she be able to practice in India after studying this online course (3-4 years)? Your quick response will be highly appreciated.
thank you
Dear Mohd.,
In India the only valid qualification for practicing homeopathy is the 5.5 yr full time BHMS course.
So In short, the answer to your question is NO.
