William Henry Holcombe

William Henry Holcolmbe (1825-1893) was a homeopathic physician, born in Lynchurg VA. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in medicine
1847 and went on to practice homeopathy. He was editor of the North American Journal of Homeopathy and President of the American Institute of Homeopathy (1874-76). He wrote a diary and autobiography which covered topics like slavery, abolition and Swedenborgianism. He also wrote two books of poetry.
