Amnesia – Amnesia is described as loss of memory, memory loss may occur after damage of the brain called the temporal lobe, which is responsible for processing, memory storage, and recall. Such brain damage results in the loss of irreplaceable brain cells; most significant brain damage usually occurs as a result of physical trauma, disease, malnutrition, alcohol or drug abuse, reduced blood supply to the brain, certain infections such as herpes, and inflammation such as encephalitis. Diagnosis of amnesia (Homeopathy Treatment for Amnesia) can be done mainly by physical examination, and an imaging test such as MRI, blood test, and urine test.

Alzheimer’s disease – the most common cause of dementia, this chronic condition is characterized by irreversible memory loss, disorientation, speech and balance problems, and decline of the intellect. Symptoms of Alzheimer’s vary from patient to patient, in early stages, the patient notices increasing memory loss that may be selective, often accompanied by some loss of previously well – established memory and a worsening short term memory. The forgetfulness soon becomes a far more profound memory loss than simply misplacing keys or forgetting a name, if a patient misplaces eyeglasses, that is normal forgetfulness but if he or she cannot nor remember   that he or she wears glasses, it could be a sign of Alzheimer’s disease. as the disease worsens, the symptoms more pronounced.

Epilepsy – epilepsy is the most common brain disorder in the general population. It is characterized by recurrence of seizures, cause by outburst of excessive electric activity in part or the whole of the brain. The majority of individuals with epilepsy do not have any obvious or demonstrable abnormality in the brain. However, a proportion of individuals with this disorder may have accompanying brain damage, which may cause other physical dysfunction such as spasticity or mental retardation.  The causes of epilepsy include genetic predisposition, brain damage caused by birth complications, infections and parasitic diseases, brain injuries, intoxication, and tumors.

Autism– According to the Autism Society of America “ Autism  is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and is the result of a neurological disorder that affects the normal functioning of the brain, impacting, development in the areas of social interaction and communication skills. Both children and adults with autism typically show difficulties in verbal and non- verbal communication, social interaction, and leisure or play activities. Autism is one of five disorders that fall under the umbrella of pervasive developmental disorders (PDD), a category of neurological disorders characterized by “severe and pervasive impairment in several areas of development.”

Stroke – stroke is damage to the brain from blockage in blood flow and loss of blood from blood vessels in the brain. A lack of oxygen and glucose flowing to the brain leads to the death of brain cells and brain damage.

Brain concusion – it is a clinical syndrome due to mechanical, usually traumatic forces; characterized by immediate and transient impairment of neural function.

Apoplexy – Apoplexy is uncontrolled bleeding that resulting in loss of consciousness and paralysis of various parts of the body. When this term is used alone it is often considered as cerebro vascular bleeding, occurs when an artery or blood vessel which carries blood in the brain is blocked or broken. Conditions like stroke or subarachnoid hemorrhage sometimes called apoplexy.

Brain tumor – general symptoms of a brain tumor are headache and vomiting without nausea. The vision is also affected. Any swelling on the head may be watched carefully.
