Hypothyroid With Thyroid Nodule -Woman of 38

• A female 38 came with K/C/O- THYROID SWELLING, HYPOTHYROIDISM since many years without any treatment. A tennis ball like swelling, a hard swelling on external throat.
• Painless swelling on external neck, with difficulty in swallowing.
• Body has developed –swelling on and off, menstrual disturbances, stomach disturbances, constipation, difficulty in breathing occ., hair fall Etc.
• Constant lethargy, dullness++. Working with difficulty because of weakness.
• Hot patient++
• Thirsty++
• Fair, light hair, obese lady with lax muscles
• Fatigue ++
• Plethora ++
• Husband has developed some dispute with her
• (Patient)- I have become dull. I don’t want to do anything. I am just sitting at home and do not have any desire to work. I understand that I have to work, rather I want to work and with the same thought I become restless.

I don’t know what to do. I have lost my interest towards my domestic duties. I don’t meet people. We are lower middle class people and so I have to work. Since thyroid I am so low. I feel anxious, restless.

• I was not like that. I used to work at home as well as outside. I don’t know why I feel so depressed and low spirited. I feel dry. I don’t feel emotions
• Some mornings i get up cheerfully but as day progresses, I get back to same state.

• A lady thermally hot, with thyroid problems with maximum readings, depressed, dry, anxious, indifferent, with aversion to her profession, morose etc.
