Mind
Quarrelsome; very fretful humor.
Anxiety on moving, as if sweat would break out.
Apprehensive; despondent.
Sensorium
Confused, as after intoxication, in the morning.
Heaviness in forehead, sense of reeling.
Vertigo: on rising in the morning, as from weakness; with nausea and inclination to vomit.
Inner Head
Heaviness, fulness; feel as if brain was cut to pieces on stooping; stupefied sensation.
Head feels thick, dull, in the morning, as from loss of sleep.
Tearing in the head and in the left eye.
Stitches here and there, worse when stooping.
Pressure on the vertex as with a hand.
Headaches return every two weeks, and are usually better in the open air.
Eyes
Vision dim, eyes red, sensitive; after exertion, especially in the evening, eyes give cut and burn.
Burning in the eyes worse morning on waking; better after washing. Lids agglutinated.
Nose
Violent sneezing without coryza.
Stoppage of the nose, cannot breath through it; worse at night.
Redness and swelling of the tip of the nose.
Face
Sensation as if swollen, it seems heavy.
Right side red and swollen with the sore throat.
Teeth
Gnawing in a right lower molar; sour, offensive water exudes on sucking the teeth.
Teeth feel loose and elongated.
Tongue etc.
Stiff, making talking difficult.
Throat
Right tonsil swollen; sticking on swallowing, as if in the uvula.
Spasmodic choking and constriction.
Desires Aversions
Averse to meat.
Thirst, worse in the evening.
Generally better after eating.
Nausea and Vomiting
Eructations bitter, sour, or empty.
Hiccough every evening.
Nausea, dull head; sour eructations, also mornings after rising.
Stomach
Burning. Pressure, better from soup or from eructations.
Empty, fasting sensation, but no hunger.
Abdomen
Bloated abdomen.
Pinching at the navel and tension in the back before dinner.
Violent cutting in abdomen, followed by soft stool.
Stool etc.
Diarrhoea and tenesmus after milk.
Diarrhoea of yellow mucous stools, expelled with great force and much flatus.
Stool, even if soft, evacuated with great pressure.
Urine
Urine increased, with burning micturition.
Male Sexual Organs
Menses: early, with pain in abdomen and small of back; or, oftener, late and scanty, with colic, backache, burning in the eyes and great debility.
Vomiting and colic, after suppressed menses.
Leucorrhoea profuse, worse after urinating and after the menses.
Larynx
Hoarseness returns annually (in one case with the nausea, intolerance of milk and weak eyes, mentioned above); also after exposure to wind.
Cough
Cough violent at night, must sit up and hold the head.
Cough from tickling in the throat, worse evening after lying down.
Neck Back
Cracking in the cervical vertebrae on moving the head.
Fine stitches and feeling of tension in nape of neck of motion.
Stitches in the small of the back.
Painful gnawing in small of back.
Upper Limbs
Left shoulder as if sprained or dislocated, better from violent motion.
Lower Limbs
Pain as from weariness in the legs, pressing towards the groins, diarrhoea; during menses.
Limbs in General
Tearing in scapulae, down the arms, in hip and down the legs.
Left arm and leg feel as if they would fall asleep; afternoon,
sitting. Hands and feet feel heavy better by motion.

Nerves
Literary men and others who suffer from periodical, nervous headaches, who are weak, with asthenopia, weak digestion, constipation; worse in the morning on awaking.

Yawning, drowsiness.
Restlessness, heat, frequent waking better walking about.

Chill Fever Sweat
Chilliness predominates. Shivering in the back, better warmth of stove. Shivering and heat alternately.
