Uterine.

      Almost cartilaginous induration of mucous membrane of bladder.

Constant urging to urinate, violent pain in glans penis; straining; pain extorts screams; must get down on all fours to urinate; urine contains much viscid, thick, white mucus or deposits a red sand.

Pains down the thighs during efforts at urination.

Urine has a strong ammoniacal odor.

Relationship

      Compare with Chimaphila, Uva ursi (spasm and burning in bladder, ropy urine), Hydrangea arb., Berber. (latter has pains more in back and hips, and has a yellow, loamy sediment).

C. Hering
Hering got the degree of M. D. from the University of Wuezburg with highest honours. The theme of his thesis was "De'Medicina Futura" (The medicine of future). Hering left Germany for West Indies and finally arrived at Philadelphia in Jan, 1833. He established a homeopathic school at Allentown, Pennsylvania, commonly known as "Allentown Academy". Soon he became very popular as a physician. He is known as the 'Father of Homeopathy' in America.
