      Sweet Violet. WM. Gross. Violaceae.

Mind

      Weakness of memory; or, increased mental activity, easy comprehension. The intellect predominates over the emotions.

Very restless, talking much. Measles.

Hysterical; inclined to weep, knowing why.

Sensorium

      Vertigo while sitting.

Inner Head

      Congestion of blood to head, with pricking in forehead.

Outer Head

      Head feels heavy and sinks forward.

Tension in scalp, extending to upper part of face.

Eyes

      Eyelids drawn down, as from sleepiness.

Ears

      Aversion to music, especially to violin; worse from music.

Stitches in and around the ears.

Nose

      Numbness of the tip of the nose.

Face

      Aphthae of infants.

C. Hering
Hering got the degree of M. D. from the University of Wuezburg with highest honours. The theme of his thesis was "De'Medicina Futura" (The medicine of future). Hering left Germany for West Indies and finally arrived at Philadelphia in Jan, 1833. He established a homeopathic school at Allentown, Pennsylvania, commonly known as "Allentown Academy". Soon he became very popular as a physician. He is known as the 'Father of Homeopathy' in America.
