Symptoms

      1. Extreme irritability and impatience esp. in rheumatic subjects; ailments from mental emotions esp. anger with indignation.

2. Severe colic (>) bending double (rev. Diosc.) or hard pressure; patient presses hard things against abdomen (>) stool or passage of flatus; ((<)) cheese; ((<)) 4-9 p.m.

3. Neuralgia esp. of larger nerves ((<)) touch yet (>) hard pressure, rest and warmth; particularly right-sided sciatica and ovaralgia; vomiting and diarrhoea often result from the pain.

4. Diarrhoea and dysentery brought on by chill during hot weather, ((<)) eating and drinking; with char. colic, (>) stool.

5. Vertigo esp. on turning head to the left.

A. Gladstone Clarke
Arthur Gladstone Clarke, a christian missionary working with the North China Mission, made good practical use of the homeopathy. He learnt as a student at MSM. He published a short introduction to the use of over 100 commonly used medicines—Decachords—first published in 1925 and still in print today.
