General [General] Is a common occurrence in lambs, and is often accompanied with colicky pains; the little animal lies down and kicks about, gets up and strains, and perhaps voids a small quantity of excrement; in such cases give Nux vomica, which is generally all that is necessary; but should it not be sufficient, give Opium. Sometimes Bryonia will speedily give relief, especially when the constipation arises from cold; after relief is obtained it is well to give two or three doses of Sulphur.
Dose. Three or four drops night and morning.
