ARGENTUM NITRICUM


Wilhelm Karo gives a detail description of the female symptoms of homeopathy remedy Argentum NItricum, in his book Homeopathy in Women’s Disease, published in 1942….


      It is the drug for women, characterized by debility of the lower extremities.

General Symptoms.

      Anxious and irritable mood. Restlessness, vertigo and enlarged feeling of the head. Sunken face, bluish complexion. Craving for sugar and strong cheese.

Special Symptoms.

      Menstruation too early, too profuse and of too long duration. Irregular menstruation. Menstrual flow thick and coagulated, coupled with headache and cutting pains in the genital organs.

Metrorrhagia with great nervous excitement at the change of life.

Disposition to abortion.

Mucous leucorrhoea with yellow, corroding discharges. Induration of the cervix uteri.
