Wilhelm Karo gives a detail description of the female symptoms of homeopathy remedy Lachesis, in his book Homeopathy in Women’s Disease, published in 1942….

      It is the drug for the change of life and for diseases of weak, meagre, melancholy women as well as for young chlorotic girls with sickly complexions.

General Symptoms.

      Infectious septic conditions. Hypersensibility to tight clothes, especially at the neck. Aggravation of all symptoms during sleep, by warmth and slight touch. Bluish colour of the skin, congestion to the head. The troubles start on the left side.

Special Symptoms.

      Menstruation delayed, scanty or intermittent. Reappearance of the suppressed menstruation, with diminution of pains, at the change of life; during the change of life menstrual flow profuse.

Leucorrhoea, starting a few days before menstruation, with smarting pains in the vulva, tendency to faint.

Congestion of the womb with prolapse.

Cancer of the womb with great sensitiveness.

Neuralgia of the left ovary.

Nymphomania.
