Symptoms
General action: It corresponds to darting, spasmodic pains along the course of the nerves; spasms in different parts of the body; colic, cramps, etc. (D.).
The patient is languid, tired and exhausted (D.).
Pains lightning-like, coming and going (Belladonna) (N.).
Darting, spasmodic pains, which are relieved by pressure and warmth-are its main characteristics (D.).
Affections of the right side of the body: Head, ear, face, chest, ovary and sciatic nerve (Belladonna, Bryonia, Chelidonium, Kali carb., Lycopodium, Podophyllum) (A.).
Spasmodic twitching of the eyelids or facial muscles (Ignatia). (D.).
Great dread: of cold air, of uncovering; of touching the affected part; of cold bathing or washing; and of moving (A.).
SPASMODIC HICCOUGH DAY AND NIGHT, WITH RETCHING (N.).
Hiccough and spasms in teething children (Belladonna, Cuprum, Ignatia) (D.).
Colic, accompanied by belching of gas (Coloc., Nux-v., Pulsatilla) (D.).
Severe cramping pains, especially in the stomach, abdomen and pelvis, AMELIORATION by hot applications (N.).
FLATULENT COLIC, FORCING THE PATIENT TO BEND DOUBLE, RELIEVED FROM HEAT LAND RUBBING (N.).
Spasmodic cough, coming on in paroxysms, without expectoration (D.).
Asthmatic oppression of the chest (Ant-T., Arsenicum, Blatta, Carbo vegetabilis, Digitalis, Ferrum, Graphites, Hepar, Ipecac., Kali carb.) (Br.).
Whooping cough, worse at night and accompanied with difficulty in lying down (Drosera) (D.).
Inter-costal neuralgia (Ran-B.) (Br.).
Constricting pains around heart (Br.).
Angina pectoris (Lachesis, Naja) (Br.).
Dull headache; as if the brain were too heavy (Bryonia, Nux vomica,) (R.).
Cramps of the extremities, during pregnancy (A.).
Complaints from standing in cold water, or working in cold clay (Calcarea) (A.).
Chorea, with contortions of the limbs (D.).
Piano or violin player’s cramps ( D.).

SCIATICA (Coloc., Phytolacca) (Br.).
Menses: Early; flow dark, string; pains worse before, better when the flow begins; pains drifting, like lightning, shooting, worse on the right side, ameliorated by heat and bending double (A.).
Spasmodic retention of urine (Belladonna) (D.).
Headache of school girls (Calcarea phos., Natrum muriaticum) (A.).
Headache, from mental emotion, exertion or hard study; relieved by pressure and external heat (A.).
Headache from 10 to 11 A.M., or 4 to 5 P.M. (A.).
Headache, begins in the occiput and extends over the head, with red or flushed face (A.).
Vaginismus (Cantharis, Platina) (A.).
SPASMODIC DYSMENORRHOEA (Actea racemosa, Belladonna, Cuprum, Gelsemium, Lachesis, Pulsatilla, Secale) (D.).
Sudden paroxysms of pain; shooting like lightning; suddenly changing place; extorting cries; causing restlessness, prostration, etc. (B.).
Sobbing, crying, lamenting all the time about pain in the affected parts (R.).
Spasmodic convulsions, with stiffness of the limbs, clenched fingers and thumbs drown in (D.).
SPASMS DURING DENTITION, WITHOUT FEVER (with fever, hot head and skin-Belladonna) (A.).
Photophobia, with increased lachrymation (Euphr., Mercurius, Natrum muriaticum) (R.).
Intermittent darting pains in and above the orbit (Spigelia) (R.).
Double vision (Belladonna, Gelsemium, Stramonium) (R.).
Toothache, aggravated after going to bed, aggravated by eating and drinking cold things, and ameliorated by heat (R.).
Severe neuralgic pains in the ears; worse by going into cold air and washing the face and neck with cold water (C.).
AGGRAVATION:
From cold air; from cold water; from touch; from cold bathing; from motion; from uncovering; and at night.
AMELIORATION :
From pressure; from heat: from warmth; from hot bathing; and from friction.
RELATIONSHIP:
