Symptoms
Active or passive haemorrhage (Ferrum, Hamamelis, Ipecac., Kali-P., Lachesis). (D.).
Haemorrhage from the nose, lungs, kidneys, and uterus (Carbo vegetabilis, Ipecac., Lachesis, Millefolium, Acid nitricum). 9a.).
Blood usually bright red (Aconite, Belladonna, Cact.) (A.).
Tendency to putrescence of the fluids (Arsenicum, Baptisia, Carb-Ac., Kali-P., Kreosotum, Lachesis). (A.).
Epistaxis profuse, passive, or bright red (Carbo vegetabilis, Lachesis, Phosphorus). (A.).
Uterine haemorrhage, after over-exertion or too long a ride (A.).
IS ESPECIALLY USEFUL IN MENSES EVERY TWO WEEKS, LASTING A WEEK AND VERY PROFUSE (Calcarea, Nux vomica). (N.).
FLOODING, WITH FAINTING, FAINT, DIM SIGHT, PALPITATION, OBSTRUCTION AND NOISES IN THE EARS (China). (N.).
Menorrhagia from displaced uterus or at the climacteric; blood dark and clotted (A.).
Threatened abortion (Caulophyllum, Sepia) with a gush of blood on each movement, with a sensation as if the hips and back were falling apart; relieved by bandaging the hips tightly (D.).
Post-partum haemorrhage (China, Ferr-P., Hamamelis, Ipecac., Secale). (N.).
Profuse yellow, creamy or bloody leucorrhoea, which renders the patient anaemic (Bl.).
Tendency to uterine prolapsus (Belladonna, Natrum muriaticum, Sepia, Thuja). (B.).
Haemorrhages from uterine fibroids (Calcarea, Acid nitricum, Thuja,) (Bl.).
Varices of pregnancy (Pulsatilla, Sepia) (B.).
Profuse, long-lasting lochial discharges (Calcarea, Secale, Sepia). (C.).
Bleeding from the tooth-cavity after extraction of a tooth (Hamamelis, Kreosotum) (A.).
Painful sinking at the pit of the stomach (Sepia, Sulphur, Zincum met.,) (A.).
Incipient phthisis, with bloody sputa; in advanced stages with copious, purulent expectoration and troublesome cough (A. )
Diarrhoea: Thin, watery, tinged with blood; often painless (Podophyllum). (C.).
AGGRAVATION:
After over-exertion; from too long a ride; from least motion; every two weeks; during the climacteric; after eating; and from sitting erect.
AMELIORATION:
From bending forward; from exercise in the open air; and from tight bandage.
