Editorial – A Crucial Battle – November 2021

In using homeopathy, we’re essentially trying to administer a healing frequency to our patients. Homeopaths know the power of frequency in health and disease. Now imagine that governments around the world were installing structures near everyone’s home, which will administer harmful frequencies, 24 hours a day. Such is the case with smart meters, cell towers and 5G.

Smart meters operate at 900 MHz (900,000,000 cycles/second), the same frequency shown to cause cancer of the brain and heart.

5G operates at up to 80 GHz (800,000,000,000 billion cycles/second). Scientists around the world consider it such a health threat, that they have signed the ‘5G Appeal’ asking for a moratorium on this technology.

While most people are unaware of this problem and are seduced by the prospect of having more electronic toys, there have been passionate protests against these technologies around the world. (3)

In the U.S. the Federal Communications Commission which is nothing more than an arm of the telecom industry (4) has ignored the research of the last 20 years which showed danger from radiofrequency radiation (RF).  This allowed the industry to legally expose millions of people (including children) to unsafe radiation.

Since the FCC is the arbiter of what is considered safe levels of radiation, attempts to oppose smart meters and 5G have met with legal roadblocks.  The FCC’s authority in this matter comes from the Telecommunications Act of 1996, which was written by the wireless industry for its own benefit. Section 704 of that Act states:

“No State or local government or instrumentality thereof may regulate the placement, construction, and modification of personal wireless service facilities on the basis of the environmental effects of radio frequency emissions to the extent that such facilities comply with the Commission’s (FCC) regulations concerning such emissions.”

So if a wireless corporation puts a 5g transmitter next to a children’s playground or a hospital, residents cannot legally oppose it based on safety concerns.  After all, the FCC says it is perfectly safe!  Communities opposing such dangerous technologies have had to argue that the devices affect the aesthetics of the neighborhood.

Enter Robert F. Kennedy’s organization, Children’s Health Defense  Recently they took the FCC to court stating that the FCC has not updated its safety guidelines for the last 20 years. A federal judge agreed and ordered the FCC to explain why it has not done so.  A modest but potentially important victory.

Now, the Santa Fe Alliance for Public Health and Safety has filed a petition (6) asking the U.S. Supreme Court to rule on whether the Telecommunications Act of 1996 violates the right of access to courts guaranteed by the First Amendment of the Constitution. Also, whether “environmental effects” mean “health effects” in Section 704.

The court’s decision in this case will determine if the wireless industry can legally expose the entire U.S. population to dangerous levels of RF radiation, or if the people can live in a safe and healthy environment. That decision will ripple around the world and may ultimately affect people in many other countries.
