Moving Ahead!

Moving Ahead!

When we started this project to explore the boundaries of homeopathy, we received some stern warnings. We were cautioned that we might trigger a debate that would be divisive. However, we envisioned a constructive dialogue, based on mutual respect and understanding. And that is exactly what we got.

This month Isaac Golden and George Vithoulkas explore the issue of homeoprophylaxis, the prevention of illness with homeopathy.

Ever since Hahnemann gave Belladonna to prevent Scarlet Fever, there have been questions about this concept. How well does it work and how dependable is it? How long will the remedies hold? What potencies do we use? Is it safe, or will it weaken the vital force? Will proving symptoms develop? How can it be explained in terms of homeopathic theory?

Isaac Golden has been researching homeopathic prevention for twenty years. He is convinced that the evidence for it is conclusive. He has developed protocols for its use. Golden believes the choice between vaccination and homeopathic prevention is easy and he would like to inform the world. George Vithoulkas has spent a lifetime trying to establish homeopathy’s credentials and gain its acceptance by the larger community. He has questions about the philosophy and effectiveness of homeopathic prevention. He is concerned that a large scale failure could cost homeopathy credibility.

So the stage is set for a dialogue from which we will all learn and benefit.
