Dear Readers,
In its August 27 issue, The Lancet published a meta-analysis and an editorial which stated that homeopathic medicines were no better than placebo. Since then many homeopaths from all over the word have raised objections to the meta-analysis and the Lancet editorial. In this issue of Homeopathy for Everyone, we focus on the ongoing controversy and try to provide an objective analysis of the meta-analysis and the editorial published in Lancet from a homeopathic standpoint. This month’s poll also tries to assess the effect of this controversy. Do share your opinion about this controversy by participating in our current poll.
This time, we also present to you a very interesting article about the importance of fingernails as indicators of our health and a pointer towards the right remedy. The article is by Gabrielle Traub, who is also our ‘Homeopath in the Hot-Seat’ for a second round. Chaitali Maybhate presents a very informative article on the mental states of various Bach Flower Remedies. Edward De Beukelaer shares a veterinary case and there are three more cases by Dr. Santosh Joshi and Dr. S. K. Mamgain. We have a new book-review, the answer to the last month’s quiz and a new quiz to tease your brains.
This month, we have also added a feedback section to share the feedback we recieve and to reply to your suggestions. Do take a look at it.
Read and Enjoy! Do remember to check the result of our last month’s quiz and also send in your feedback about this journal and Hpathy.com at mail@hpathy.com.
Yours sincerely,
Dr. Manish Bhatia
