Giving Thanks

As this year ends, all of us at Hpathy wish you joyous holidays and a healthy, happy New Year. Your wonderful comments, questions, articles and cases have helped shaped the content this year. Through this exchange of ideas we find ways to heal ourselves, our friends, relatives and neighbors, and gradually we heal a world. Homeopathy’s focus on the individual, evokes our empathy and compassion. With almost limitless possibilities, it always leaves us hopeful. Homeopaths need to make a living, like everyone else, yet our field is still driven by passion rather than profit. Homeopathy is vibrant and growing, being spread throughout the world by passionate and dedicated souls. We give thanks for this gentle healing art, and pledge ourselves to be better every day.

This Month

This month Elaine Lewis interviews Dr. Robin Murphy, author of that wonderful repertory and many other books and lectures. He always shares gems with us. Homeopath Radko Tichavsky explores miasmatic diseases in plants, giving us a deeper look at agrohomeopathy. Jiri Cehovsky builds on his autopathy article of last month with accounts of serious cured cases. Julie Haza does a homeopathic analysis of the classic film It’s a Wonderful Life. Two extraordinary trees are explored as remedies : the Moreton bay fig tree by Linlee Jordan and Linda Beaver and Cinnamomum Camphorum by Dr. Joe Rozencwajg.

We often debate about what is the real homeopathy. In Facts and Theories – Hahnemann’s Balancing Act, Ralf Jeutter describes the boundries of what constitutes Hahnemann’s homeopathy. Aisling Murray explores the Lacs in Homeopathy. Robert Medhurst has suggestions for PMS. Dr. P.S Rawat‘s new book, a treatise on homeopathic help and research, will be serialized over the next months, and we have the first instalment. Dr. Kulwant Singh discusses viral hepatitis in great detail.
