Homeopathy is a Passion

Homeopathy is a Passion

In Mexico in 1939, a Homeopathy Free School was flourishing and serving dedicated students and teachers.  The President of the Republic, urged on by enemies of the school, tried to close it. To fight this attack, strike flags were put at the school’s doors and the teachers worked without pay. The students “took cover on the roof with bricks and stones, ready to fight before letting their school die” (1).  Eventually the director of the school got a decree from the government, which overruled the President and saved the school.
For most of us, the discovery of homeopathy started with taking a remedy, which against all logic, healed us.  In that moment, the universe opened a door and we sensed there were even deeper secrets. This kind of visceral discovery breeds a compelling passion. Some oppose homeopathy because it seems inexplicable, while others with darker motives, because they know it is a force for good.  In either case, they always underestimate the passion with which it is held.
