Dr. Seyedaghanoor Sadeghi shares his experience presenting a workshop in Japan on the homeopathic management of diabetes. He discusses his success in managing different aspects of diabetes

Introduction

Diabetes mellitus has reached a pandemic level worldwide, with 422 million people, according to the most recent data issued on the W.H.O. website.  While conventional medicine has been treating diabetes, no complete cure is possible and patients are dependent on conventional drugs as long as they live. New horizons have emerged to the possibility of complete cure in people with both types 1 and 2.

Report on the Workshop:

The President of the Japanese Homeopathic Medical Association, Dr.Torako Yui, invited me to hold a one day workshop at the College of Holistic Homeopathy (formerly Royal Academy of Homeopathy) on April 29, 2017 in Tokyo

The power point slides were sent to Ms. Akemi Tsuzuki at the London office of the college, about 2 months before the event, and they were translated to Japanese.

A group prayer was performed by Dr.Yui and her colleagues at the class. The lecture started by asking the audience to be silent for 30 seconds for our great homeopathic teachers, including Dr. Hahnemann, Dr. Herring, Dr. J.T.Kent and Dr.Torako Yui.

Conventional Medicines

The most common drugs used by conventional medicine were reviewed along with their indications and side effects. It was concluded that Metformin was the best one now prescribed and Sulfonylureas the worst, due to theside effects of hypoglycemia, obesity, destruction of pancreatic beta cells and cardiovascular risks.

I presented a 7 year observational study in 154 type 2 diabetics to fifty people in Tokyo and another 50 from 4 other cities including Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka and Sapporo, via live video program. I gave the definition of type 2 diabetes, causes, epidemiology and life expectancy ranking of some countries including Monaco , Japan,  the USA Iran and Chad.

Prevalence of the homeopathic remedies used was: Lachesis: prescribed for 46.87% of patients,  Lycopodium in 25.78% and Phosphorus in 19.53%  of the 154 patients.

Success rate: In 83.12% of the patients positive physical and emotional changes were observed. They included: reversing of type 2 diabetes in a man from Austria and reversing diabetes in a woman aged 64, including improved Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) and A1c , more inner calmness, better self-control, increased muscular power and energy, happier mood. Another result was complete cure of tinnitus in a man, improved visual acuity in a woman and reduction of 30 units of insulin in 5 months on taking Lyc.30 in a woman aged 72.  Also mentioned were three cases of complete cure of patients with diabetic foot ulcers and gangrene.

Two Other Cases

One of them, a lady with infiltrative breast cancer was the daughter of an old lady , a type 2 diabetic.  She was treated with an integrative approach including chemotherapy, diet therapy, radiotherapy and homeopathy. She was in the 4th stage of the cancerous condition with a poor prognosis of 6 months survival, but I guided her treatment and she lived more than 8 years from the time of diagnosis as a cancerous patient.

The other case of cancer was a man with type 2 diabetes who was afflicted with leukemia after about 20 years of his diabetes and was treated by the allopathic physicians.

From Right to Left: Dr.Torako Yui, Dr.Sadeghi, Mrs.Mahdavi, my wife.

After the workshop, my wife and I were interviewed by Dr.Torako Yui and her team about homeopathy in Iran, the challenges and how to overcome these.

Conclusions:

I thank the Japanese Homeopathic Medical Association for preparing the friendly, scientific atmosphere for us to present Our 7 year observation of 169 type1 and type 2 diabetic patients. Our study shows the efficacy of homeopathic remedies in reducing conventional medications and patients having better Fasting Blood Sugars and better A1c than when treated by conventional drugs. Our patients also had more inner calmness, better self control and a happier mood. We also succeeded in  curing diabetic foot ulcers in 3 type 1 and 3 type 2 cases. Homeopathy can be considered to success in healing diabetic foot ulcers, preventing amputations and in general, increasing the diabetics general health well being.
