Thanks for your many wonderful cartoons Alan, but this one leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I take your point that the S&TC has prostituted itself, but since some of my patients are sex workers, and having worked at a women’s centre in London which is also the home of the English Collective of Prostitutes, I have to say that I have found sex workers to have much more morals and integrity than this S&TC committee ever showed (with the exception of Ian Stewart who showed an open mind and did not ratify the report but dissented).
Personally I prefer your ‘double blind’, ‘NHS budget’ and ‘what evidence’ cartoons, which also sum up the attitude of the the ‘evidence check’. Keep up the good work, but don’t blame us women for the S&TC! Most of us practitioners and users of homeopathy are women, and there’s no shame in consenting sex after all, no matter the price. Selling out ‘science’, however, to promote deadly pharmaceuticals in the name of profits, at the expence of any caring, safe and effective modes of treatment, is just genocide.

Thank you for your perceptive comment. You make a valid point. Comparing the S&T Committee to sex workers in an unfair analogy. It would be hard to find a metaphor to fit people who would sell out suffering humanity for personal gain. In fact, I felt uncomfortable portraying Pharma as a Pig, since that does a disservice the those lovely animals. I’m glad you enjoyed the other cartoons and I appreciate the feedback.

Yes I see your point about pigs also. They are very intelligent animals.
How about comparing the S&TC / big pharma with Rwandan or other genocidal leaders? In a month about one million people were macheted to death in Rwanda. How many die each month from iatrogenic causes? How many die from the needles of vaccines?
