Alan Schmukler Biography.

Alan was born in the U.S. (Phila., PA) in 1945.  When he was thirteen years old, his uncle built for him a chemistry laboratory in the basement. That started a lifelong love of science and exploration. He later attended Temple University, where he added humanistic psychology to his passions. After graduating Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa and President’s Scholar, he spent several years doing workshops in human relations. Alan also studied respiratory therapy and worked for three years at Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia. Those thousands of hours in the intensive care and emergency rooms taught him both the strengths and limitations of conventional medicine.

Alan was inspired to learn about homeopathy in 1991 when he was cured of an infection with Hepar sulph. He began reading everything he could find and attending lectures. He learned homeopathy and other cutting edge healing techniques from Dr. Luelle Hamilton, Dr. Robin Murphy, Dr. Henry Williams, Beth Rotondo, Dr. Lance Wright, Dr. Bernie Havilland, Dr. Richard Moscowitz and others. He later founded the Homeopathic Study Group of Metropolitan Philadelphia, giving free lectures and hosting the areas best homeopaths to teach. He also helped found and edit Homeopathy News and Views, a popular culture newsletter on homeopathy. Alan began practicing homeopathy with one of his best friends and has been consulting now for many years. He taught homeopathy for Temple University’s Adult Programs, and has been either studying, writing, lecturing or consulting on homeopathy since 1991.  Alan wrote Homeopathy An A to Z home Handbook, which is now available in five languages. He says that his current work as Editor at Hpathy.com, is one of his most rewarding experiences.

  • I read the Cooper article and wondered if you have any contacts with practitioners that are actually using his work to diagnose and treat. It seems so clean and simple. I asked Kaviraj and Jullian who wrote the article and neither could help me.

By the way I cannot seem to log into my Hpathy account which is driving me nuts as I like to comment and ask questions.

  • Hi John,

Glad to see you active here. I don’t know of anyone using Cooper’s methods. So many good ideas are lost. Can you send me an email with the particular problem you’re having signing in? Like what error message you get etc? Send to [email protected]. I’m sure we can solve it.

    Be well!

    Alan
