Mission Statement:
I have always wanted to help people and be kind to them in their distress. So, being a doctor was the best option I had. In my endeavor to study Medicine, God would have it that I study Homeopathy. And, I’ve been fascinated with it, ever since. It gives me a sense of fulfillment that would never have been possible practicing conventional medicine. The Aphorisms 1 and 2 of Hahnemann’s Organon of Medicine formed the cornerstone of this mission in my life:
1. The physician’s high and only mission is to restore the sick to health, to cure, as it is termed.
2. The highest ideal of cure is rapid, gentle and permanent restoration of the health, or the removal and annihilation of the disease in its whole extent, in the shortest, most reliable and most harmless way, on easily comprehensible principles.”
I believe that homoeopathy is the answer to treating suffering not only at the level of the body, but also at the level of the mind. It brings a sense of balance into one’s life-not just a temporary relief of symptoms. In homoeopathy, one has to learn to be close to God as well as understand oneself deeply. That is the principle by which our remedies work…healing from within outwards.
I find that the homoeopathic way of life means sensitivity to the suffering of people in their daily lives at home, at work or within themselves. It looks at a person as a human being created by God that needs love and help in a time of distress – not just a clinical case with a diagnosis.
The practice of homoeopathy has captured my heart and my mind. Helping people with homoeopathy enables them live happier and more balanced lives. Doing so, with a purpose, as in Aphorism 9, Hahnemann himself affirms: “….. so that our indwelling, reason gifted mind can freely employ this living, healthy instrument for the higher purposes of our existence”.
Today, I feel blessed to be able to use this wonderful gift of healing. Humbled by its enormous potential and greatness, I continually hope to be inspired to learn from the wholeness Homeopathy has to offer, as also to contribute my little bit to make this science well respected and more accessible to the world today.
