Homeopathy Pellets

Pellets used in homeopathic remedies are made of 85% sucrose and 15% lactose. The number given to a particular size pellet is determined by the length in millimeters, of the space occupied by ten pellets of equal size, in a line and in close contact. They are most often sold in sizes #35 (size of a BB), #20 (poppy seed) and #10 (grain of sand).

Bad Food

In the U.S., the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) just declared that genetically engineered nonbrowning apples and bruise-resistant potatoes were safe and nutritious. The apples and potatoes are now approved for commercial planting. The FDA also approved pharmaceutical drugs that killed over 300,000 Americans over the last three years.

Gastric Problems in Horses

Sometimes the diminution of appetite in the horse is caused by a morbid state of the stomach, induced either by the bad quality, or excessive quantity of the food. Arsenicum is specific if due to bad quality of food and Antimonium crudum if from excessive quantity. If there is a diarrhoea, Pulsatilla should be employed, and if the animal has colic, Chamomilla.

Coerced Vaccination in Australia

Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott announced that the government will stop welfare payments to parents who refuse to vaccinate their children. The “no jab, no pay” policy may cost parents more than $11,000 a year per child. Parents seeking a religious exception would need to be registered with their church…but there are no mainstream religions that have such objections registered.

Another way to reduce allergies

Thirty years ago I discovered that far too many of our urban landscape trees and shrubs were separate-sexed male plants. Males were cloned in massive numbers because they produce no seeds or fruit; they’re “litter-free”. But male plants all produce great amounts of allergenic pollen. This discovery is now known in pollen journals as “botanical sexism.” Female plants, harder to find, but well worth the effort, produce no pollen and they trap and remove airborne pollen from the males. I discovered that most pollen lands quite close to whatever plant produced it. This is now known as “proximity pollinosis.” This means that allergenic plants growing closest to you (in your own yard perhaps) are the ones that are apt to trigger your allergies or asthma. This is the basis of allergy-fighting gardens and landscapes. Cocoon yourself with allergy-friendly landscaping!
