It might be strange to people that all those homeopathic hospitals and pharmacies have disappeared in America and Britain. This was due to a concerted effort to remove them by first getting rid of all the homeopathic colleges which trained homeopaths, so there would be no more graduate homeopaths. The removal of homeopathic colleges was brought about following the Flexner Report in America in 1910, which was the death knell for safe and natural medicine, such as herbalism, osteopathy and homeopathy. Albert Flexner was tasked to visit every medical school of every discipline and make out his report, which redefined what could be taught. Nowadays, India is the country where homeopathy is most widely used and according to Statista in 2021 there were 312,000 homeopathic doctors. One of the most important trials on homeopathy was done inadvertently and it unequivocally proved its efficacy. In 2007 and 2008, an outbreak of Leptospirosis in Cuba was contained using a preventative homeopathic dose of the actual disease itself, which was given to 2.3 million people. The pharmaceutical industry has not looked kindly on homeopathy. Great efforts have been made since its resurgence in popularity in the 1990s to deter people from using it, mainly through ridicule and propaganda in the media. Obviously Pharma loses money when people prefer to use a safer, gentler and effective form of medicine, free from side effects, addiction and poisoning.
Many people don’t realise that homeopathy is increasingly being given to farm animals and has even been found to work very well on farm crops, trees and plants. This undoubtedly proves that the healing effect of homeopathy is not placebo!

A remarkable book was published by Vaikunthanath Das Kaviraj on the subject of Agrohomeopathy, namely Homeopathy for Farm and Garden. I personally met Mr. Kaviraj who recommended Belladonna for the blackspot and aphids on my beautiful heritage red roses. Needless to say, it worked perfectly! In his published paper, ‘The Continuum of a Unified Theory of Disease’, world famous homeopath, Professor George Vithoulkhas, says:
“Throughout the life of a person, from birth to death, there is a continuum in the pathological conditions that person may experience. The body as a whole suffers deeply any time there is an acute or a chronic condition that is either maltreated or neglected.”
“Suppression of diseases, through excess of chemical drugs or other means, many times overwhelms the body’s natural defenses and forces the immune system to compromise and start a deeper line of defense, which then constitute the beginning of a new chronic condition.”
Sadly, the medical profession’s cures are often nothing more than palliation at best and suppression at worst, which as stated above, then becomes a new and deeper chronic condition, even harder and more stubborn to treat.
Conversely, through carefully noting down all the symptoms of a disease and prescribing a matching homeopathic remedy accordingly, homeopaths seek to work with and aid the body’s efforts to heal itself, restoring the patient back to health.
As we see ever more results of the bad effects of the current medical model’s prescribing, we can only hope there will be an increase in the number of people finding themselves a good homeopathic practitioner to reverse the state of their ill health.
