Tidbits 96: Tick Bite!

Written by Elaine Lewis

Another picture case proving homeopathy works!

I don’t know how you could have gotten a tick bite in winter!

Don’t look at me!

I knew something was up when I saw the Calendula sitting out!  Remember?  I said, “OK, Shana, what have you done!  Let’s see it!”  And you rolled up your pajama leg and there it was, a bite of some sort, a very weird bite just above your knee!  I had never seen anything like it!

7 Dec 22

It itched!

And you scratched it and made it bleed, and that was the reason for the Calendula!  “You have to wash a wound before you put Calendula on it!” I said.

Anyway, itching was the problem.  And the skin around the bite was hard and hot.  We tried Ledum, nothing happened.  We tried Caladium, nothing got better.  We tried Hypericum, Sulphur, Rhus tox, Apis, you name it, and the itching was still there.

I decided to find out what kind of bite this was.  I looked at pictures of spider bites, mosquito bites, bed bug bites, flea bites… nothing looked like a match until I found this:

It’s the tell-tale “bullseye” circle around the bite that signals a tick bite.

So I asked, “Mom, do you have a tick remedy here?”

And I said, “All we have is the Lyme nosode.”  I checked the Repertory under “Bites” and there was nothing, no rubric, for “Tick”.

This remedy is “Lymes Disease 1M” from Helios Pharmacy in England.

I gave you one dose.  The itching stopped right away.  Three days later the “bullseye” circle around the bite was gone.  All that was left was a scab from where you scratched it!

The skin was no longer hard and the heat had gone away too.

Mission Accomplished!

Well, that’s it!

Thanks Mom!

Imagine.  The Lyme nosode!  Yeesh!

OK. See you again next year!
