Materia Medica is the backbone of Homoeopathy. An addition to Materia Medica knowledge is always welcome and beneficial. “Tips Of Materia Medica with Comparisons for Competitive / Viva Voce Examinations & for Clinical Practice in Homoeopathy” written by Prof. (Dr) Samarendra Prasad Mishra, M.D.(Hom), is a humble attempt to simplify the burdens of Materia Medica for everyone from students to practitioners of Homoeopathy. This book is mainly based on two important and commonly used Materia Medicas, Allen’s Key Notes and Boericke’s Materia Medica. The common problem faced by students and doctors is memorizing the vast Materia Medica symptoms. The author has simplified this problem by comparing the important symptoms with their similarity and /or opposites in other drugs. This is a simple and easier way to remember Materia Medica in the shortest possible time and with least effort. This pattern is followed throughout this book.

In the second part of this book, tips on some rare drugs are given with their sources, preparations and therapeutic applicability.
