I have a confusion regarding the relationship between Nitric Acid and Lachesis bcoz. Nitric acid has been given to be complementry to Lachesis while at the same time it has been mentioned that Lachesis is inimical to Nitric acid!!!!!

Hello,
This is a very good question.
Lachesis is considered inimical to Nitric Acid because it antidotes it homeopathically. It also share some similar symptoms pictures (like worse morning). I have not seen it listed in the complementary section in my Materia Medica. However, the guiding principle of a homeopath is always to seek healing in the patient. So if someone comes with a picture that looks like homeopathic Nitric Acid, and afterwards they really look like Lachesis, then it may be Ok to prescribe it.

I hope this helps.
